Global information firm Thomson Reuters is partnering with fintech accelerator SuperCharger to offer the first programme in Hong Kong which is dedicated to both startups and more established firms.

The SuperCharger is the first fintech accelerator program to be located in Hong Kong and which is dedicated to both startups and more established global fintech companies aiming to capture the Asian growth market, according to a press release from Thomson Reuters sent on Thursday.

The program leverages Hong Kong’s strength as one of Asia’s finance and technology gateway's while enabling companies to access the opportunities in mainland China which today represents one of the world's largest markets for fintech firms.
