Alpine Adventure: Starring Begonias
In Alpine Adventure, the wild landscapes of Switzerland’s alpine regions in summer are creatively interpreted for Singapore's Flower Dome for the first time.
Over 50 varieties of alpine and seasonal plants form the plant palette, while cheerful begonias in vivid shades of red, pink, and white echo those found decorating the balconies of Swiss chalets and alpine towns.
Also celebrated are Switzerland’s iconic landmarks and traditions. Highlights include Zürich’s St. Peter’s Church, famed for having the largest clock face in Europe, and the Fraumünster, known worldwide for its Chagall-stained-glass windows.
Most Beautiful Train in the World
Visitors can also see a recreation of the Glacier Express, often called the slowest yet most beautiful train in the world, alongside cultural touches such as traditional Swiss papercutting and the alphorn, a long wooden instrument of the Alps.
Alpine Adventure is presented in collaboration with Switzerland Tourism, and supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Singapore, Swiss International Air Lines, Travel Switzerland, Zürich Tourism, Geneva Tourism, Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg Tourism, Glacier Express, and Gornergrat Railway.
