LGT Promotes Ex-APAC Head of Investment to Global Role
Liechtenstein-based LGT has promoted its former Hong Kong-based Asia Pacific head of investments to a global role, in response to changes in market dynamics, client needs, and technology.
LGT has appointed Mika Kastenholz as global head of investment solutions and member of the senior management board of LGT Private Banking, according to an announcement in the bank’s first-half results for 2025.
Kastenholz was previously head of products and services and head of investment APAC. He joined the Liechtenstein-based bank in 2023 and was previously head of structured macro trading at Credit Suisse.
According to LGT, the appointment is part of broader efforts to address «increasing market dynamics, changing client needs, and the growing influence of data analytics and artificial intelligence».
