Credit Suisse’s former Greater China chief investment officer has joined Lombard Odier, finews.asia has learned.
Lombard Odier has hired Jack Siu as head of discretionary portfolio management, Asia, sources told finews.asia. In the role, he reports to John Woods, chief investment officer (CIO) and head of investment solutions for APAC.
Siu was most recently Greater China CIO at the now-defunct Credit Suisse. Prior to that, he also worked at Citi and Standard Chartered. The hire is a reunion of sorts for Siu as he reconnects with his former boss Woods who was APAC CIO at Credit Suisse before joining Lombard Odier in January.
When contacted, a spokesperson for the bank confirmed the new hire.
