New York-headquartered Citi has announced the appointment of a commercial banking head for China.
Lin Hai has been appointed as head of Citi commercial bank (CCB) for China, according to a statement. In the role, he reports to Gunjan Kalra, head of CCB for Asia North, Australia & Asia South clusters as well as Luke Lu, Citi country officer and head of banking for China.
Lin has worked at Citi for over 20 years in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland China after first joining the US lender as a treasury management associate in 2002. He was most recently the market unit’s head of corporate sales and solutions for mainland China and Hong Kong.
