The former Asia Pacific head of Credit Suisse Asset Management has reportedly left UBS after joining the enlarged Swiss lender less than a year ago.

Min Huang is leaving UBS, according to a «Reuters» report citing unnamed sources. Huang was named China client coverage head for UBS Asset Management in June 2023 following the government-brokered takeover of Credit Suisse, where she was the APAC head of its asset management unit.

UBS China country manager Eugene Qian recently spoke about the Swiss lender’s «huge opportunity» to expand in the country, alongside various other markets. Within mainland China, UBS signed a memorandum of understanding with ICBC last year to explore strategic collaborations across asset management, wealth management and corporate banking.
