The former Singapore CEO of Standard Chartered has joined a property technology company as a board chairman.

PropertyGuru appoints Ray Ferguson as chairman of the board, according to a statement, effective 1 January 2024. He succeeds Olivier Lim, who has been PropertyGuru’s board chair since September 2019.

Ferguson is a seasoned veteran in the financial industry and previously worked at Standard Chartered for 28 years, including his last role as Singapore CEO. He is currently chairman of Singlife and serves on the board of various other companies including Paragon REIT and fintech firm Hashstacs.

Founded in 2007, PropertyGuru is a property tech company in Southeast Asia that connects 37 million property seekers with 57,000 agents and 2.8 million real estate listings across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
