US investment firm Cambridge Associates has relocated a managing director from its headquarters in Boston to Singapore.

Cambridge Associates has expanded its Asia investment team with the relocation of managing director Ming Yan from Boston to Singapore, according to a statement. In the role, she reports to Aaron Costello, regional head for Asia. 

Yan has 17 years of experience and has advised clients with assets totalling $20 billion on the implementation of investments across private and public asset classes. She started her investment career as an analyst at UBS before working at New York-based AlpInvest Partners as a member of its secondaries investment team.

Cambridge Associates was founded 50 years ago in 1973 and today, it has 11 global office locations, including its headquarters in Boston.
