Wealth managers continue to tap into the growing Middle East opportunity with Bank of Singapore hiring two senior executives in Dubai.

Bank of Singapore appoints Bora Armangil as chief operating officer for the Middle East business, according to a statement, effective immediately. In the role, he reports to Ranjit Khanna, global market head of Middle East and chief executive, DIFC branch, as well as the relevant global functional head in Singapore.

Armangil has 20 years of industry experience, most recently as the founder of wealth management consultancy XNext. A dual Swiss and British citizen, he started his career with IBM before taking on senior roles at Deutsche Bank and UBP overseeing tech, ops and business management.

Human Resources

The Singapore private bank has also named Rebecca Genty-Nott as head of human resources for the DIFC branch, subject to local approval of her work visa. She also reports to Khanna and her relevant global functional head in Singapore.

Genty-Nott has over two decades of experience, including the past 13 years in Dubai across a range of senior roles in marketing support and HR at Julius Baer, LGT and Octogone. She started her career at Lloyds TSB Private Bank in 2001 before moving to C. Hoare & Co in London as a private banking relationship manager.
