JPMorgan’s asset management arm has announced two senior appointments in Asia.

JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) appoints Eddy Wong as Asia Pacific head of institutional business, according to a statement, effective immediately. Based in Hong Kong, he reports to Asia Pacific chief executive Dan Watkins.

Wong joined JPMAM in 2005 and was most recently CEO for China.

Desiree Wang succeeds Wong as the Shanghai-based CEO for JPMAM in China, also reporting to Watkins.

Wang joined JPMAM in 2008 and was most recently China country head for the firm.

JPMAM established its APAC business in 1970 and has over 1,500 employees with $217 billion of client assets, as of 31 March 2023.
