Standard Chartered has announced two new appointments in its transaction banking business in Asia.

Kashinath Hariharan joins Standard Chartered as head of transaction banking and head of cash management for India and South Asia, according to a statement. He will also be the cluster head for the cash management business. 

Hariharan has more than 26 years of experience in operations, sales and product management. He was most recently working at ICICI Bank.

China Transaction Banking

In addition, Standard Chartered also appoints Yigen Pei as head of transaction banking and head of cash management, China.

Pei has over 27 years of financial experience, spanning corporate banking, treasury, and trade solutions and operations. He was mote recently the vice chair at Shanghai Services Federation and previously worked at Citibank.
