The global card payment organization appoints a new head for Hong Kong and Macau.

Visa has appointed Paulina Loeng as its general manager for Hong Kong and Macau, effective immediately, according to an announcement sent Monday.

Based in Hong Kong, Leong will be responsible for leading Visa's business growth and operations in Hong Kong and Macau. She was most recently the head of client relationship management for the two locations. She first joined Visa in 2007 and has held various roles at the company in various locations in Asia and London.

Leong has over 18 years of experience in the payments industry and has also worked at JP Morgan Chase.
