Eight Wealth International, the wealth and accountancy arm of St. James’s Place group, has appointed a head of tax and estate planning.

Kelly Greig joins Eight International Tax & Legacy Experts as its head of tax and estate planning, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, Greig will be asked with growing the firm’s tax and estate planning offering in Asia.

Greig was most recently a partner at law firm Paris Smith where she led the tax and estate planning team and supported family and commercial property teams family in the areas of Capital Gains tax, stamp duty land tax, and restructuring and succession planning of businesses. Previously, she also worked at Irwin Mitchell leading its later life proposition. 

EWI continues to expand in Asia following the hire of 30-year wealth management veteran Simon Lints last month as a strategic advisor to the firm. 

EWI is a wealth management and accountancy business within St. James’s Place group set up several years ago by group chief executive Ian Riggs to provide financial as well as tax and legal advice.
