A 25-year industry veteran and former Schroders executive has joined Singapore-headquartered Fullerton Fund Management.

Angus Hui joins Fullerton Fund Management as its head of fixed income, according to a statement, effective June 20.

In his new role, Hui is tasked with oversight of the fixed income team which has 18 investment professionals with an average of 18 years of investment experience. He will report to chief investment officer Ken Goh and also work closely with Ong Guat Cheng, who has been appointed head of Asia fixed income. 

Hui has 25 years of investment experience, most recently with Schroders where was last its head of credits, Asia. Prior to joining Schroders in 2000, he held research roles at HSBC in Hong Kong and Standard and Poor’s in Australia.

Incorporated in 2003, Fullerton is part of asset management group Seviora which is a holding company established by Singapore state investor Temasek. In addition to the city-state, it has offices in Shanghai, London, and Brunei.
