Global real estate giant CBRE has appointed a new head of advisory and transaction services for Asia pacific.

Luke Moffat has been named CBRE's regional managing director, head of advisory and transaction services, Asia Pacific, according to a statement.  

Moffat will relocate from Shanghai to Singapore and succeed Manish Kashyap who has taken on a senior leadership role in the firm as global president of advisory and transaction services.

Moffat has 20 years of commercial real estate experience and was most recently CBRE’s regional managing director, eastern China and Greater China head of advisory and transaction services. Previously, he also worked at Blackrock.

«[Moffat] has been an influential leader at CBRE and instrumental in the success of the business groups he has overseen throughout the past seven years,» said Kashyap. «Under his leadership, CBRE’s Eastern China business and the Greater China A&T business have demonstrated impressive growth during unprecedented times.»
