Citi CEO Jane Fraser has seen a salary increase in the midst of a major overhaul at the US lender.
Citigroup has increased the salary of chief executive officer Jane Fraser by approximately 6 percent to $26 million for 2023, according to a filing. The bank cited the revamp of its organizational and management model, the sale of international businesses and work in improving risk management as reasons for the salary bump.
The compensation of Citi’s first female CEO included a base salary of $1.5 million, cash bonus of $3.7 million and $20.8 million in deferred performance-linked stock.
