Singapore-based Wrise has expanded its presence with the launch of a new Hong Kong unit.

Wrise Wealth Management Hong Kong has launched to target ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWI) and family offices in the Greater China region, according to a statement.

The business will focus on a two-pronged approach that involves a digital component based on Wrise core wealth system, TREX, which offers data consolidation capabilities and other tools, alongside an experienced team to provide specialized expertise catered to client needs, including wealth planning, trust, and corporate services.

Vice Chairman

In addition, Wrise Wealth Management Hong Kong has also appointed financial veteran Marcus Wong as vice chairman of the new business.

«There are today, more UHNWIs in the Greater China region than ever before, so it is critical we have a physical presence in these markets to better address our clients’ wealth management needs,» said Wrise group chairman and chief executive Derrick Tan

«Hong Kong, being the gateway to Greater China, is a natural choice for setting up this office, which is the second to launch following the establishment of our Singapore office in July last year.»
