The Singapore Fintech Festival this year saw the highest attendance on record since the inception of the event, according to the city-state’s regulator.

The Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF) drew more than 62,000 participants from over 115 countries – a record number since the inception of the event in 2016 – according to a statement from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

The festival featured more than 850 speakers alongside over 570 exhibitor booths, including 25 international country pavilions.

«The SFF organizing team thanks all our sponsors, speakers, partners and participants for joining in this year’s event. We look forward to continued collaboration with the industry to bring together an exciting and impactful SFF 2023, to be held from 13 to 17 November 2023,» the MAS said.

The statement also highlighted the Elevandi Insights Forum with 22 closed-door roundtables attended by nearly 1,200 government and industry leaders.

Topics covered include cross-border payments, stablecoins development, open finance, sustainable finance, digital banking, Web3, as well as digital assets. The conversations will continue at the second edition of the Zurich-based Point Zero Forum, scheduled for June 26 to 28 next year.
