The recipients of the latest in-principal approvals for Singapore’s digital payment tokens license have been unveiled, further adding to the city-state’s crypto industry.

Yesterday, the Monetary Authority of Singapore granted three new in-principal approvals, in line with a speech by the city-state’s Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat during the Zurich-based Point Zero Forum.

According to a «Strait Times» report, the three new entrants are cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com, digital currency broker Genesis and digital assets solutions firm Sparrow. Including the latest additions, MAS has now issued 14 in-principal approvals for token licenses out of a total of 196 applicants, as of the end of May.
