Following the recent appointment of Cliff Pearce as global head of Capital Markets, Intertrust named a new global head of their wealth unit.

Intertrust has announced the appointment of Ian Rumens as global head of Private Wealth Services. Rumens is based in the firm's Jersey office.

At Intertrust, he will be focussed on expanding Intertrust’s client base amongst the world’s wealthiest families and high net worth individuals.

Rumens has been part of Intertrust’s private wealth team as director since the acquisition of Elian in 2016. He joined Elian in 2009 from an international legal fiduciary firm based in Jersey.

Prior to this, Rumens spent six years practising as an English solicitor with leading private client practices in London. He therefore has extensive international experience in both the legal and fiduciary fields.

Rumens is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
