The Co-Chairman of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank who has stepped down after this week's Annual General Meeting will continue to serve the bank, with a particular focus on Asia.

Jurgen Fitschen has served at Deutsche Bank since 1987 in a number of roles. For more than a decade, based in Bangkok, Tokyo and Singapore, he helped build out the bank’s Asian business.

Fitschen, 67, will leverage the client network he has built over decades to support the bank’s business with key corporate clients. He will focus on Germany and Asia, the regions which have been particularly important to his career.
