There has been another burst of senior moves across the wealth management and related sectors in the region; we have listed a selection below:

In Hong Kong:

Credit Suisse announced that John Woods has joined Credit Suisse as Chief Investment Officer Asia Pacific for Private Banking & Wealth Management, based in Hong Kong. Mr Woods takes over from Fan Cheuk Wan who left her role as CIO in April this year. Woods will be based in Hong Kong.

Anita Wong has joined RBC Wealth Management as an executive director, Wong will cover the Hong Kong market.

Mo Ji has been appointed chief economist, Asia ex-Japan at French Asset Manager Amundi in Hong Kong.

Old Mutual Global Investors has hired Oliver Lee from Schroder Investment Management as investment director for Asian equities.

Elsewhere in the APAC region AIG has appointed Toshiya Hasegawa to run its Asia-Pacific treasury unit. Hasegawa will be based in Japan and report to AIG’s treasurer Monika Machon in New York.

In Singapore multi-family office Thirdrock Group hired Jasper Lai from Citibank as chief risk officer.

Also in the Lion City Stephan Repkow the former Asia head of Union Bancaire Privee, has launched a new wealth management platform called, Wealth Management Alliance (WMA).

M&G Investments has confirmed that Andrew Hendry, the firm's managing director of Asia, will be stepping down from his position by the end of this year.

Finally as was widely expected and known in banking circles in Singapore, Dominique Boer has been appointed as managing director and market leader for the Singapore market at Credit Suisse Private Banking.
