Liechtenstein private bank LGT has hired a relationship manager to its non-resident Indian (NRI) team in Hong Kong with the addition of a former UBS private banker Jaya Jayaraman.

Ceri Ng ANZ’s Singapore-based head of mutual funds has left the bank. At ANZ Wealth Ng had managed fund research, model portfolio construction, macro analysis, asset allocation and performance analysis.

Willy Tan has joined BNP Paribas Wealth Management in Singapore. In the new role he will be responsible for dealing with external asset managers, multi-family offices and independent financial advisers.

China Renaissance the boutique investment bank has appointed former JP Morgan banker Jeremy Choy as co-head of mergers and acquisitions and managing director. Choy will be based in Hong Kong.

There was a flurry of moves in Australia over the past week including at JP Morgan Asset Management.

In order to expand the firm’s market insights program in Australia JP Morgan Asset Management appointed a global market strategist. Kerry Craig will relocate from London to Melbourne to assume the newly created role. Mr Craig will be responsible for delivering market analysis and insights, and communicating the investment views of the firm to retail and institutional clients.

Melbourne-based boutique firm DMP Asset Management has appointed Linda Trusler as a fund manager following the appointment of former Contango executive Stephen Babidge.

Global real estate firm Savills Australia has announced a key new appointment with the recruitment of Damien Abela to its Victorian Valuation & Consultancy team.

In India Mumbai-based multi-family office Waterfield Advisors appointed Rohit Karkera as its first head of investment solutions last month amid growing demand from wealthy Indian clients.

Finally in Malaysia CIMB Bank Bhd said on Friday that its Chief Executive Officer Sulaiman Mohd Tahir would resign, effective Nov. 22.
