UBS Global Asset Management has announced the expansion of its Australian Global Asset Management team with the senior appointments of Vasco Gil as Product Manager, James Duck as Director, Institutional Business Development and Jennifer Alker as Marketing Manager.

Vasco Gil’s role in the UBS Product Development and Management Team as Director – Product Development & Management involves managing the lifecycle of UBS' Australian managed funds.

Gil is responsible for handling current product development opportunities, enhancement of product platform capabilities, monitoring market trends and ensuring compliance with the Australian regulatory regime. He joins UBS with over 10 year's product experience from his extended tenure at AMP and more recently Russell Investments.

James Duck is a member of the Institutional Business Development team and is responsible for growing the business in Australia and key client relationships. Duck joins the team with eighteen years of industry experience previously holding senior sales management roles at Fidante Partners and ING Investment Management.

Jennifer Alker will take on the newly created role of Marketing Manager, she will be responsible for overseeing UBS Global Asset Management's marketing activities, supporting UBS' strategic growth initiatives and building on the franchises growing success in Australia. Prior to joining UBS, Jennifer Alker worked at Fidelity Worldwide Investment in various marketing roles and has broad experience within the Asset Management industry.
