3. Structural Change of Digitization
Sixty-six percent of Swiss banks believe that digitization will fundamentally upend finance. This means banks are finally taking the trend seriously: last year, just over half believed in a digital revolution, and two years ago only 26 percent.
More worryingly, 27 percent of Swiss banks have identified digital channels as an additional means to distribute their products, while 7 percent still believe digitization is merely a hype which will blow over.
