The newly openend Nordic Innovation House offers a strongly connected local network that helps startups get going and offer programs that further scale and refine their business concepts.

Nordic Innovation House has been launched in Hong Kong. It is a community scaling the best of Nordic businesses that supports the members hit the ground running. The aim is to be the bridge between Nordic companies and Hong Kong/Greater Bay Area.

This is Nordic Innovation House’s second location in Asia. The first one is located in Singapore and was launched in September 2018.

Our ranking in World Bank’s latest Doing Business Report has risen from the fifth to the fourth. We are also flourishing as an Asian hub for innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. That includes our start-up scene, among the top five fastest-growing and one of the world’s top 25 start-up centres,» Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of Hong Kong, said at the inauguration.

Nordic Innovation House Hong Kong is a collaboration between the Nordic countries Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland and is funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers and supported by the local business community and the Hong Kong Government.
