US bank Goldman Sachs has appointed two co-Chief Operating Officers of Mergers & Acquisitions for Australia and New Zealand.
Olivia Brown and Marissa Freund (pictured left) have been appointed as co-COOs of M&A in Australia and NZ. This is a newly created role reflecting the growth in the franchise business, so they are not replacing anyone, a spokeswoman said to finews.asia. They report to Nick Sims who is Head of M&A. Freund has been working for Swiss bank UBS for almost ten years.
Olivia Brown is based in Melbourne and Marissa Freund is based in Sydney. The appointments are effective immediately.
