Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles has added a new partner to the Financial Services and Private Equity team.

Kiwook Kim has joined Heidrick & Struggles' Seoul office, covering the Financial Services and Private Equity sectors.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Kim spent 12 years in the Search industry in both Seoul and New York, focusing on C-level recruiting in the Financial Services sector.

Previously, Kim was with LG Investment & Securities in research sales, where he covered clients in New York and London. Prior to his career in executive search, Kim worked as a Business Development manager at Asiacontent.com, an internet media company which was later listed on Nasdaq. Earlier in his career, he was a sales trader at CLSA based in Seoul.

Born and raised in Korea, Kim has also lived in Canada and Saudi Arabia. He was recognized as one of Asia Pacific's top recruiters and serves on the board of directors for International Student Conferences (ISC) based in Washington DC. Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.
