Swiss outsourcing company and a former UBS division Chain IQ has appointed a new chief executive officer as the incumbent, Marc Schnyder, is retiring.

Having completed the setting up of the outsourcing company, Chain IQ Chief Executive Officer Marc Schnyder is planning to retire at the end of February 2016, the previous UBS unit said in a statement today.

As the company wants to retain the experience and knowledge of Schnyder, he'll stand for election to the board of directors in April 2016. The board appointed Urs Dogwiler as his successor as CEO, starting on March 1, 2016.

Dogwiler has several years of experience as global chief procurement officer in an international business environment with an excellent track record in particular in the supply chain management, the company said.

With many years of management experience, Dogwiler has what it takes to further develop Chain IQ, the company.

Schnyder was in charge at Chain IQ since 2013, when the company was founded. He had always planned to take early retirement at 64 years of age.
