Jones Lang LaSalle the global financial and professional services firm specializing in commercial real estate services and investment management has made senior hires in its Asian business.  

JLL has stated that Kent Fong and his investment team from Cushman and Wakefield have joined the JLL Capital Markets team, enhancing the firm's offerings to investors seeking opportunities in the property market.

Kent Fonghas been appointed Regional Director and will lead the team whose core focus will be on larger transactions within the investment portfolio. Mr. Fong has over 21 years' experience in the real estate industry and joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2009 to set up and lead the Investment Department. He has a proven track record in every property sector including commercial, residential, industrial & logistics, redevelopment sites, hotel & serviced apartments, and retail & shopping mall.

The investment market has seen improvements in 2015, driven by increasing investor demand for commercial properties. The total value of investment (over HK$100 million) across the commercial and industrial property sectors amounted to HK$68.3 billion, up 18% compared to 2014.
