Kuala Lumpur headquartered CIMB Group has obtained approval from the Bank of Thailand for the appointment of a new President and Chief Executive Officer of CIMB Thai.

Kittiphun Anutarasoti will commence the new role as President and CEO on 19 October 2016. Anutarasoti will be taking over from Subhak Siwaraksa who will be retiring from the bank.

Kittiphun Anutarasoti, a Thai national, brings with him a wealth of corporate banking experience, having served in various key business positions in Thailand with three global banks and two of the largest Thai banks.

CIMB's T18 Strategy

Subhak Siwaraksa served for seven years as President and Chief Executive of CIMB Thai. During his tenure he resolved various legacy issues and subsequently guided CIMB Thai on a new strategic path.
