The professional social network for the financial services industry, NexChange, has announced the appointment of a Chief Strategy Officer, based in Hong Kong.

Former J.P. Morgan Executive Andrew Economos has been hired to head strategy and business development for social network, NexChange, the social media platform aimed at financial professionals.

Economos is a finance industry veteran with nearly 30 years of experience in asset management and business leadership in Global, Asia and Emerging Markets roles.

He joins from Capital Group where he served as Head of Strategic Solutions and Head of Asian Distribution. Prior to Capital Group, Economos spent 7 years with J.P. Morgan, where his last role was Managing Director and Head of Sovereign & Institutional Strategy Asia for J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
