Australian financial services company Yellow Brick Road has appointed a new General Manager of its wealth division. This is a new role reporting directly to Executive Chairman Mark Bouris.
Adam Youkhana joins Yellow Brick Road from Westpac Banking Group, where most recently he was the Head of Partnerships and Private Banks for Financial Planning across Australia.
Previously he was Head of Financial Advice and Investments for NAB Private Wealth overseeing both the strategic and business operations of their wealth management business.
With Focus on Authorised Representative Recruitment
The role was created following the resignation of CEO Wealth Management Matt Lawler in July.
According to executive chairman Mark Bouris, (pictured left) the new role will lead Yellow Brick Road’s wealth management business with a focus on authorised representative recruitment, increasing the percentage of clients who received wealth advice and building wealth capability. «This is a new role, reporting directly in to me, responsible for the end to end business of wealth management. This includes primary responsibility for our Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and the general advice and personal advice offers we have within the business,» Bouris explained.
