Perpetual, one of Australia's largest independent wealth managers, has announced the appointment of a new group executive of marketing.

Kylie Smith, who has served as Perpetual’s General Manager of marketing and communications since 2013, will start in her new role on 1 September.

Smith was previously responsible for the management of the group’s brand, reputation and digital strategies to grow clients and new business revenue.

Prior to joining Perpetual, she worked for Westpac Group for more than 15 years, serving in senior marketing and corporate affairs roles within Westpac bank and BT Financial Group.
