Swiss bank Credit Suisse has appointed a new Head of Trust and Estate Advisory, in Hong Kong with immediate effect. 

In a note to finews.asia the bank said that Teddy Chu has been appointed to lead a specialised team providing wealth planning services to  clients of the Zurich based bank across the APAC region.

In the new role Chu will report to Stefan Aegerter, (pictured below) Global Head of Trust and Estate Advisory for Credit Suisse Trust Group, and locally to Rajesh Manwani, Head of Investment Solutions and Products, Asia Pacific.

Chu previously worked at Deutsche Bank for six years as Head of Wealth Planning in Hong Kong, leading a team of planners providing wealth structuring and inheritance planning advice to high and ultra-high net worth individuals.

Prior to this, he held a senior role in Private Wealth Solutions at HSBC Private Bank Hong Kong.
