Zurich Financial Services Australia has promoted from within for the newly created position of Head of Digital, within its Life and Investments business.

In his new role Marc Fabris will lead the next phase of Zurich’s strategy to become more digitally engaged with its customers and distribution partners.

He will be overseeing a team comprising web producers, digital strategists and marketing automation specialists.

Fabris had been on a three-year assignment at Zurich’s global headquarters, where he was Global Life Head of Digital Marketing. It is thought that one of Fabris’ first priorities will be to lead a major revamp of Zurich’s local websites.

«Marc Fabris has been a significant contributor to Zurich’s reputation as a pioneer of innovation and technology, exemplified by the development of Zurich’s first to market mobile quotation app, as well as driving the development of the iPad app, «iRisk Advisor», at a time when apps were still in their infancy in the Australian life insurance market,» said Philip Kewin General Manager Life and Investments.
