The Group CEO of Convoy Financial Holdings has resigned, due to personal commitments on his other business.

Mak Kwong Yiu was the Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Convoy Financial Holdings. He was also the director of 9 subsidiaries of the Company. He will end his tenure at the end of this month, according to a statement released on Tuesday.

Mak has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter in respect of his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

Proactively Seeking a Successor

He joined the Convoy Group in May 2002 as the Chief Financial Officer and was promoted as Group CEO on 1 January 2015. He is responsible for managing the overall strategic development and the operation of the Group.

In the interim period the duty of CEO will be shared by Quincy Wong, Chairman, Ng Wing Fai, Group President, and Rosetta Fong, Group Vice Chairman. The Group will proactively seek for another suitable candidate for the post.
