U.K. headquartered and Asian centric Standard Chartered Bank has appointed a new Global Head of Securities Services - Information Technology and Operations.

In a press release the bank reports that Katarina Rosboch will be responsible for the technology and operations teams globally supporting the Securities Services clients and product offering.

She joins Standard Chartered from UBS after a stint as Managing Director in APAC Investment Bank Operations. Prior to UBS, she was Global Head of Operations, Equities at Standard Chartered.

She will be based in Hong Kong and report directly to Michael Dargan, Chief Information Officer, Corporate and Institutional Banking.

Under new Chief Executive Bill Winters Standard Chartered, who reported worse than expected results for the full year 2015 last week, have been actively calibrating their senior management teams.
