Located between Paris and the Charles de Gaulle international airport EuropaCity is a unique French national interest project, supported by 3.1 billion euros in private investment, it is due to open in 2024.

Wang signed a partnership agreement in the presence of Jean-François Carenco, prefect of the Île-de-France region, to develop this major project of Greater Paris.

The Dalian Wanda Group Corporation will contribute to the funding of the project and will provide its expertise and know-how in terms of leisure, hotel service and entertainment.

«We have wanted to develop ourselves in France for a while, and particularly in Paris, as I had told the French President during his visit to China last November. For us, it is the most important project outside of China,» said Wang Jianlin.
