BNP Paribas Investment Partners Appoints Private Wealth Distribution Heads

BNP Paribas Investment Partners, the asset management arm of BNP Paribas, has announced the appointment of Mandy Lui, as Head of Private Wealth Distribution, North Asia with immediate effect. Based in Hong Kong, Lui is in charge of delivering a full suite of services and fund products to third party intermediaries, including banks, private banks and insurance companies, across North Asia.

She replaces Guenter Tschiderer, who will relocate to Singapore to take on the newly-created role of Head of Private Wealth Distribution, Southeast Asia. They report to Christian Bucaro, Head of Private Wealth Distribution in Asia Pacific, who is based in Singapore.

Tino Moorrees, Head of Asia Sales said, “As we continue to expand and consolidate BNP Paribas Investment Partners’ offerings in the region’s Private Wealth business, particularly in the Multi Asset Solutions space, these appointments are part of our broader objective to bolster the franchise’s footprint in Asia Pacific across fund and advisory offerings for our clients.”

Mandy Lui joins from Schroders Investment Management, where she was responsible for the Private Banks distribution business in Hong Kong. Guenter has been with the BNP Paribas Group for over 10 years and started his career in business development and portfolio management in both Paris and Hong Kong.
