It has been another bumper week for senior moves across the main financial hubs in the Asia Pacific region. We have listed below some of the main announcements.

The National Australia Bank owned private wealth business JBWere has announced a trio of senior appointments to its advice, products and operations teams. Gerrik Gratz has been promoted to the position of head of operations and strategic delivery. The company has also appointed former national head of markets for UBS Australia, Neville Azzopardi, who will join JBWere as the general manager of advice and the firm also named Ariane Barker as the general manager of products and markets.

As of January 1 2016 Credit Suisse Asia Pacific investment banking chief Vikram Malhotra will take on the role of leading a new UHNW Entrepreneur Coverage unit. Malhotra will work across departments overseeing the groups most significant UHNW Entrepreneur clients to grow client activity across the entire bank. Mervyn Chow and Edwin Low have been named to succeed Malhotra as co-heads of the Investment Bank and Capital Markets department in Asia Pacific.

ANZ have announced the appointment of Eddie Listorti as Acting Managing Director Global Markets reporting to CEO International and Institutional Banking Andrew Géczy, following the resignation of Steve Bellotti.

Justin Raoul Moffit, who has been chief information officer for the Asia-Pacific investment bank at Barclays in Singapore for the past two years, is set to join Macquarie in February 2016.

Vivian King has been named head of wealth planning Asia for RBC Wealth Management. Prior to this she was vice president, wealth planner at Citi Private Bank in Hong Kong.

James Assersohn has joined JLL as a Director of Retail for Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. At JLL the retail consultant’s duties will include advising international brands expanding into Asia, as well as assisting landlords with leasing management.

Angie Wong has been appointed as an analyst with LaSalle Investment Management in Hong Kong, the investment management subsidiary of JLL.

Jingjing Yuan has joined French resort operator Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group as a Real Estate Development Manager based in Shanghai. In her new role, Yuan will assist the firm’s Asia Development Officer and China CEO in developing new resorts in China and other locations in China.

Joanna Wong King Yu has relocated to Singapore to join Fosun Property Holdings’ Southeast Asian operations.

Ceri Ng the former head of mutual funds at ANZ Wealth Asia, has joined Prudential group. Based in Singapore, she is director, funds research for the regional investment office at Prudential Services Singapore.

Tan Chin Hwee, the founding partner in Asia for $162 billion hedge fund Apollo Global Management LLC, will join Trafigura Pte Ltd. as the world’s second-largest metals and independent oil trader expands in the region. Tan, who stepped down from Apollo last month after joining in 2007, will take on a senior position at Trafigura’s Asia-Pacific operations. The appointment was confirmed in an e-mail by Jonathan Pegler, Trafigura’s co-head of crude oil.

Standard Chartered is understood to have dismantled its Hong Kong-based project finance team that focused on Greater China, making the division the latest to fall prey to the bank’s restructuring. Peter Ho, a managing director in the project and export finance division, left Standard Chartered this month. Ho had a number of people working under him and their roles have also been made redundant.

DLA Piper has hired Michael Horn, an infrastructure and structured finance specialist formerly with Clyde & Co, as partner at its Singapore office. Horn is expected to play a leading role in DLA's Indonesia practice, collaborating closely with associate firm Ivan Almaida Baely & Firmansyah Law Firm (IAB&F).

Suci Guntur has joined Standard Chartered Private Bank in Singapore. It is believed she will be managing the Indonesian ultra high net worth client segment.

Eastspring Investments has added four new members to its equity team as it deepens analytical capabilities across a number of investment strategies. Bonnie Chan joins the equity team as a portfolio manager for the firm’s Asian infrastructure fund. She is a member of the regional Asia focus team, where she specialises in Asian infrastructure equities. Mandeep Sachdeva joins as a portfolio manager in its global emerging markets (Asia) focus team, and concentrates on Asian emerging market equities. Arthur Kadish also joins the team as a portfolio manager in the equity team and is a member of the regional Asia focus team. Shea Pei Shee joins the company as a portfolio manager and member of the equity income focus team. All four will be based in Singapore.

Citi has appointed Jan Metzger to head its Asia-Pacific technology, media, and telecom operations in corporate and investment banking, highlighting the US bank’s ambition to grab a larger share of the sector's mega deals, Metzger joined from Credit Suisse.
