Leading independent investment research provider Morningstar, announced the appointment of Jamie Wickham as Head of Products and Client Solutions, Asia-Pacific. Wickham will be responsible for Morningstar’s product development and client solutions activities in the Asia-Pacific region, he will be based in Sydney.

Nomura has made two executive director-level appointments to its debt capital markets team. The Japanese lender has hired Jonathan Yip as executive director and head of China DCM, it has also hired Shantanu Sahai as an executive director of Asia ex-Japan DCM, Sahai will be based in India.

Global law firm Eversheds has hired Charles Butcher as a partner in the firm’s corporate practice in Hong Kong. Butcher specialises in private equity, venture capital, M&A, and financing and restructuring work, with a particular focus on the TMT, healthcare and natural resources industries.

AXA IM has hired Kelly Ng, Ng joins the wealth management group as a director of private bank coverage for Asia. In his new Singapore-based role, Ng will be responsible for reinforcing and expanding AXA IM’s coverage of private banks and wealth managers in Asia.

RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) have appointed Tony Ho as Managing Director of RICS in East Asia. As the new Managing Director of the region Ho will have responsibility for overseeing business development, as well as the recognition of RICS standards and qualifications for the East Asia region, covering Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, South Korea and Macau.
