EVO Capital Management Asia Ltd has appointed Michael Green, former JP Morgan executive, as head of Asian trading. Green, who was head of Asia-Pacific Cash Trading and Execution Services at JP Morgan in Hong Kong, will be tasked to continue building out Asian trading strategies for EVO. He will be based in Hong Kong.

Wei Cai, UBS Group AG’s co-head of China investment banking, is leaving this month to join FountainVest Partners Co.

FountainVest was founded by former Temasek Holdings Pte executives including Frank Tang, who was head of China investments at the Singapore state-investment fund, and Terry Hu, its former head of global real estate investments.

Swiss private bank Credit Suisse has appointed Selina Sia as head of its greater China equity research for private banking and wealth management.

Zurich Financial Services Australia has named Charles Stodart as its new investment specialist.

Mr Stodart, who joins the firm’s strategic accounts and research team, will provide key support and investment commentary to financial advisers and investors of Zurich’s suite of managed funds, according to a statement by Zurich.

Magellan Asset Management has appointed Mark Jordan as a key account manager to its distribution team. Jordan joins from Fidelity Worldwide Investment, where he was the national account manager.

Bluefield Partners, the Shenzen, China-headquartered broker-dealer and wealth manager has announced that it is to open a new sales and administration center in Shanghai as part of a fresh drive to significantly increase its footprint within the mainland China wealth management market.

Francis Tay, who leads sales development at Bluefield Partners, confirmed that he would be moving to the Shanghai center from the Hong Kong office in order to help develop the expansion of the company’s wealth management practice.
