Family Office Exchange (FOX), the leading global membership organisation for family offices and their key advisors, is expanding in Australia and New Zealand and has appointed Melissa James as the Market Leader for the region.

James joins FOX from Millewa Collective, a specialist corporate advisory serving entrepreneurs, families and business leaders. Earlier, she worked as a senior executive for a leading Australian family office. Amongst her diverse expertise, Melissa James graduated from the University of Sydney with Honours in Law and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ms James will be increasing the FOX membership base in the region and guiding families and advisors on global best practices. She will help bring to the Australian and NZ market 26 years of FOX knowledge and expertise gained from serving over 1000 ultra high net wealth families.

She will be jointly running the FOX Family Enterprise Council™ in Australia with Charles B. Grace III, Managing Director for FOX. In its second year, the Council is a peer group of family leaders and their most trusted advisors working collaboratively to resolve the challenges they face in ensuring the long term well-being of their families and their family enterprises.

“We are delighted to bring on someone with the tailor-made credentials of Melissa James,” said Alexandre Monnier, president of FOX. “As our membership has grown in Australia, we recognised the benefit of adding a Market Leader to serve the members locally. Melissa has a deep understanding of family enterprise and is in a unique position to leverage the worldwide resources and experience of FOX for the benefit of families in the region.”
