A quick run through of the moves around Asia announced since the start of the week.

Melissa Mao is joining Gaw Capital as Senior Director of Asset Management. Mao was formerly with Morgan Stanley Real Estate. She will be relocating to Hong Kong from Shanghai.

UBS have appointed Andrew Williamson as head of client coverage, Asia Pacific. Williamson is replacing Matthew Rule, who becomes head of Investment Products and Services, Asia Pacific.

In his new role, Rule will report to Kathryn Shih, head of wealth management, Asia Pacific and Mike Stewart, global head of IPS.

In Singapore Kevin Ong, head of the private bank for Southeast Asia, at ANZ has decided to leave the banking industry and as a result will be leaving ANZ.

HSBC Private Bank has named new heads for Taiwan, Fiona Hsu, the Philippines Bala Balagopalan and the international team, Anthony Hingley.
