BNP Paribas have announced the appointment of Philippe Noirot as the Head of Country for South Korea and CEO of BNP Paribas S.A., Seoul branch

Noirot will be responsible for managing the bank’s overall activities in Korea. He will report to Eric Raynaud, CEO of BNP Paribas Asia Pacific.

Raynaud said: “BNP Paribas is committed to growing its business in Asia Pacific. South Korea is one of the key markets in the region presenting strong potential for domestic and international growth. I am confident that Philippe, bringing an extensive experience in various areas of the banking industry, will continue the good momentum of our business development in Korea. He will play a significant role to further support the needs of our Korean and international clients.”

Philippe is currently Head of Corporate Deposits & Liquidity, Asia Pacific and Head of Business Development, Asia Pacific based in Singapore. He joined BNP Paribas Fortis in 2005 in Belgium as Head of Business Development and Marketing for its Merchant Banking Division. In 2011, he moved to Singapore as Head of Business Development for BNP Paribas Corporate Coverage Asia Pacific until 2013.
