BNP Paribas has appointed a new country head of Australia and New Zealand and chief executive of its Sydney branch, James Gibson. Gibson will be responsible for managing the bank's overall activities in Australasia. He will report to Eric Raynaud, chief executive of BNP Paribas Asia Pacific.
